HR Executive

About this role

The HR Executive owns the people function end-to-end for Rookie Ninja Distribution. With active hiring across sales, e-commerce, and finance, you will lead recruitment while also handling onboarding, attendance, payroll inputs, engagement, and compliance. This is a broad generalist role for someone who enjoys building people processes in a fast-growing company.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and closing offers across sales, e-commerce, and support roles (high-volume sales hiring in particular).
• Manage onboarding, documentation, and induction for new joiners.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, and leave; prepare monthly payroll inputs for accounts.
• Drive employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
• Handle grievances, performance-review coordination, and basic employee relations.
• Ensure statutory HR compliance (PF, ESI, professional tax, labour norms).
• Maintain and improve HR policies, SOPs, and the employee handbook.
• Track HR metrics — time-to-hire, attrition, headcount — and report to leadership.

What we're looking for

• 1–4 years of HR generalist / recruitment experience.
• Strong sourcing skills across job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Apna, WorkIndia) and references.
• Working knowledge of payroll inputs and basic statutory compliance (PF, ESI, PT).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
• Well-organised, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple hiring pipelines at once.

Nice to have

• Experience hiring for high-volume sales / telecalling teams.
• MBA / PGDM in HR or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HRMS / payroll software.
